If you thought Segways were pretty nifty machines then check out Solowheel.
As the inventors say themselves, the Solowheel is the smallest, greenest, most convenient People Mover ever invented.
Keep an eye out on the BAG site for possible Solowheel experiences coming your way. But for now, Segways are definitely here to stay.
Notice that a certain highstreet warehouse-and-catalogue shop have this tidy little Dareway Scooter for sale.
Hmmm.
Difficult to know what to say really. Wouldn’t it be easier (and more fun) to go on a Segway rally rather than have a huge chunk of plastic gathering cobwebs in the garage?
Also, it looks a bit like a ride on lawn-mower.
What do you get when you put a pair Chuckle Brothers on a Segway? A whole lot of fun.
If anyone missed the fantastic sight of Rotherham’s finest nose diving on a Segway then here’s your chance. Enjoy.
Fancy showing Paul Chuckle a thing or two on a Segway? Try it yourself with our Segway Rally for One Special Offer.
File under “Do want”.
The DTV Shredder is a mighty engine powered skateboard/segway/tank which looks amazingly unlikely to ever get street legal status here in Blighty.
With treads instead of wheels and the ability to stomp all over any terrain you can throw at it. It’s like the bigger, harder brother of a Segway who gets all the attention at parties.
Why are we featuring it when we don’t offer any experiences on it? Because it looks amazing. That’s why.

Our nearest thing? The Segway rally - which just happens to be on special offer at the moment.
Arriving at the Segway Rally Experience in Daventry, we were greeted by the sight of an earlier class just finishing up. The course looked quite tame, but as novices, that was no bad thing! We were issued with a surprising amount of body armour, which made us feel rather macho, and then a girly hairnet to use under the helmets provided, which made us feel rather less macho! Soon forgot about what we looked like though, as the heavens opened, and most opted for the plastic ponchos provided to prevent getting soaked.
We started with basic instruction on these amazing personal transport machines, and then were let loose on a simple slalom course to get used to them. General thing was to learn to relax and controlling them became quite intuitive. Then we went on to the main track. Looked tame as I say, but on the side of a hill, it proved a suitable test, with the ability to get up some reasonable speed, and learn what these machines can really do.
By the end of our hour, everyone had beaming smiles, and all agreed it was great fun, and something very different from the norm. Would definitely recommend this experience.

Getaway of the Day: Justin Bieber encounters a frenzied flock of flighty fans, hightails it on his trusty Segway.
Well, that’s one way to use a Segway. You can recreate this experience yourself if you bring 100 screaming fans to one of our Segway rallies.
Please note: 100 screaming fans are not provided as standard.
