I recently went for a day’s fly fishing with Rob at Rutland Water. Brilliant! Absolutely brilliant!
The day started with a theory session, which demystified what I had previously thought to be a ‘black art’ and which covered all the basics from what all the kit is, to the choice of the fly or lure.
We then went outside to learn about casting and the different techniques involved. The whole thing was enriched by Rob’s enthusiasm, experience and obvious love for the art (or should that be ‘sport’?). After a good lunch we hit the water in the afternoon and Rob helped each of us to land fine fish - he even gutted them and I have to say that they tasted better than any trout we’ve ever bought.
Not the cheapest day, but I can recommend the experience to anyone who has ever wondered what the sport was all about.

Deciding who should win September’s review of the month has been a very difficult decision to make. The office was split in half by two reviews that we all loved but couldn’t decide was more worthy. So, we decided to award it to them both.

What a great day I had! I was made to feel very welcome from the moment I got there, and was made to feel at ease.
The makeup girl, Jaz, was fantastic and did my makeup great! And was very good as she told me what she was doing and the colours she used was also very good. And the photographer was also very good. She got some wonderful shots of me.
I just wish I could have afforded more pictures as they were all great. Overall it was a great gift and a wonderful day out. Just what I needed at this moment in time as I have been through a bad patch as I had had some bad news. I have included a couple of my pictures for you to look at.

We had a really good day. It was the hottest day of the year to date and the Castle was stunning from the outside and the interior was as you would expect from a Royal residence - immaculate.
Despite having some difficulty finding a parking space within reasonable walking distance (perhaps some guidance could be given to customers) the stroll was certainly worthwhile.
After the opulence of the Castle we were not disappointed with the afternoon tea in the hotel opposite, which was quiet, cool, efficient and the sandwiches and scones were delicious. Thank you for providing this facility and to my colleagues for buying the gift day on my retirement.

Last December I bought two deluxe makeovers for the bridesmaids for my wedding as gifts. They have just been for them and they absolutely loved it.
They had their hair done and the photos are fab! They were a really great price and they made a full day of it in Manchester. I have attached a picture of each of the two ladies who I bought the makeovers for. Debby is the blonde lady & Helen is the brunette. Please let me be the winner.

I bought the Snooker day experience for my boyfriend and I have to say we both really enjoyed our day. Craig came away with some skills which have now perfected his game as he plays for a team. He really enjoyed himself and got to meet some really nice people in the process. I would just like to thank all the people that were involved in making this day a success and we would defiantly be booking another day with buy a gift soon. In fact I think I have already found his Christmas present!

I received the O’Neill half day surfing experience for my birthday. I booked the experience about 3 weeks before I went to Newquay. Booking was quick and easy. The actual experience was fantastic! The girls at the O’Neill Academy at Watergate Bay were brilliant - friendly and welcoming. Gave clear and easy to understand instructions, hints, tips and step by step how to…once in the water they were on hand to assist and gave lots of praise and encouragement to myself and the other surfers in the group. Overall, 10 out of 10. I had a blast and will definitely do it again :)

Arriving at the Segway Rally Experience in Daventry, we were greeted by the sight of an earlier class just finishing up. The course looked quite tame, but as novices, that was no bad thing! We were issued with a surprising amount of body armour, which made us feel rather macho, and then a girly hairnet to use under the helmets provided, which made us feel rather less macho! Soon forgot about what we looked like though, as the heavens opened, and most opted for the plastic ponchos provided to prevent getting soaked.
We started with basic instruction on these amazing personal transport machines, and then were let loose on a simple slalom course to get used to them. General thing was to learn to relax and controlling them became quite intuitive. Then we went on to the main track. Looked tame as I say, but on the side of a hill, it proved a suitable test, with the ability to get up some reasonable speed, and learn what these machines can really do.
By the end of our hour, everyone had beaming smiles, and all agreed it was great fun, and something very different from the norm. Would definitely recommend this experience.
