We enjoyed our visit to Windsor Castle this October and were glad we chose this time as there were no crowds, and we had easy access to all the areas.
We particularly enjoyed the leisurely viewing of the Queen’s Dolls House which had always had long queues on previous visits. It was interesting to see how skilfully areas that had been damaged in the fire had been restored.
We were impressed with the staff at the castle who were extremely helpful, informative and smartly turned out.

We had a really good day. It was the hottest day of the year to date and the Castle was stunning from the outside and the interior was as you would expect from a Royal residence - immaculate.
Despite having some difficulty finding a parking space within reasonable walking distance (perhaps some guidance could be given to customers) the stroll was certainly worthwhile.
After the opulence of the Castle we were not disappointed with the afternoon tea in the hotel opposite, which was quiet, cool, efficient and the sandwiches and scones were delicious. Thank you for providing this facility and to my colleagues for buying the gift day on my retirement.

I went to Windsor Castle followed by afternoon tea at the hotel. This was bought for me from my friends as a 60th present. The staff were very kind at the castle, as my husband uses an electric buggy, due to his disability. There was a choir singing in the chapel which were superb, making it very atmospheric. We were very impressed by the royal apartments. We spent three hours there, we could have spent longer, however I had booked the tea for 4pm. The sandwiches were delicious, scones perfect and the chocolate cakes were to die for. I would love the recipe. All in all a fantastic day!
